JOHN PADDOCK VP, Hockey Operations, General Manager & Head Coach

(2005-08) and as an Asst. Coach and Asst. GM with the Philadelphia Flyers (2009-14). Playing career: Played for his hometown Brandon Wheat Kings (1972-74). Scored 83-points in 68-games in his second and final junior season, leading to being drafted by the Washington Capitals in the third round of the 1974 NHL draft. Went onto play parts of five seasons in the NHL split between the Philadelphia Flyers and Quebec Nordiques. Notes: 2015 and 2017 WHL Coach of the Year...2017 WHL Executive of the Year.

Bio: From Brandon, Manitoba...now his ninth season with the Pats...took over for Dave Struch on November 18th, 2021 Coaching & Front office: In his 40th season working behind the bench or in a hockey front office (1983-present). Began his coaching career in the AHL with the Maine Mariners and Hershey Bears (1983-89) before joining the Philadelphia Flyers as an Assistant GM in 1989-90. He made his NHL Head Coaching debut in the 1991-92 season with the Win- nipeg Jets, where he both coached (1991-95) and served as their GM (1995-96) before spending half a season with the Phoenix Coyotes following the relocation of the Jets. He later worked as an Asst. and Head Coach of the Ottawa Senators

Bio: Regina, SK...enters his sixth season as Assistant Coach. Coaching Career: Started his coaching career as the Head Coach of the Regina Pat Canadians U18 AAA (2013-2015 member of Saskatchewan Midget AAA Hockey League. He joined the Pats as an Asst. Coach for the 2015-16 season. On the Bench, Brad handles the forwards. BRAD HERAUF Assistant Coach

Playing career: Suited up for the Regina Pat Canadians U18 AAA before embarking a four year career in the SJHL split between the Estevan Bruins and Battlefords North Stars where he tallied 197-points (71 G / 126 A) in 197-games. He then went onto play 10 years of professional hockey, dressing in the AHL, ECHL, CHL and QVHL (2003-13).

KEN SCHNEIDER Assistant Coach

Regina Pats: Hired by the Regina Pats as an Assistant Coach on September 3rd, 2021 after being a scout for the club for three seasons (2015-2019). Schneider has coached at many different levels over the years, including guiding the Ile-des- Chenes North Stars to an Allen Cup national championship in 2003, as well as coaching the AAA U-18 Brandon Wheat Kings from 2010-14 and in 2018-19, when he led them to a provincial championship.

Bio: Colfax, SK (south of Regina)...born May 15, 1961 (61). Playing Career: Began his junior hockey career with the SJHL’s Weyburn Red Wings, scoring back-to-back 30+ goal seasons, totaling 69-goals and 135-points in 117 career games (1977-80). He then went onto play two seasons with the WHL’s Brandon Wheat Kings (1980-82), scoring 20-goals in his first season. Schnieder then finished his career with Weyburn before attending Brandon University from 1982-1984.
